Program Structure

A client’s schedule at Nexus is customized based on their individual needs. Upon admission, clients are assessed by our clinical team and a suggested treatment plan is developed. Most clients who come to us begin in our Partial Hospitalization Program—receiving care at the facility for six-hours a day, five days a week. As client’s move through PHP and into the Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient programs, they begin to spend less time at our facility and more time participating in day-to-day activities such as work, school, and time with family.

We also understand that each person enters treatment under different circumstances, and we pride ourselves on providing customized care for all of our clients. Consequently, we are always willing to work with clients and their families to find a level of care that suits each person’s individual needs.

We honor the unique experiences of both men and women in recovery from addiction. This is why we offer gender-responsive programming here at Nexus Recovery. Our program incorporates both gender-specific and mixed-gender groups throughout our program to provide our clients with the best chance at long-term success. Our men’s program and women’s program are designed with the individual needs of each client in mind and help lay a foundation of practical tools to help our clients best navigate life both during and after treatment.

Understanding that alcoholism and addiction are diseases centered in the brain, Nexus focuses on treating each client’s mind, body, and spirit with two core philosophies: time and connection. Using a four-phase extended care treatment program, we provide clients with both adequate time and an environment that fosters meaningful connections in order to give our clients the structure and support they need to achieve recovery. Each phase of the four-phase system promotes achievable, tangible, and rewarding goals that enable clients to reconnect with their peers, families, and futures. When individuals enter our care, it becomes our mission to help them build a framework for themselves and provide the tools they need to maintain sobriety and achieve their personal goals. As clients move through each phase of the treatment program, they will continue to progress and develop as individuals while remaining part of a strong recovery community.

Having found a home at Nexus, alumni are always welcome at the facility to participate in group activities and community meetings. By this phase of the treatment program, we have helped clients reintegrate into society, realize their potential, and find meaning, purpose, and use in their lives. Clients will leave Nexus with established connections to their mind, body, and spirit, along with a clear set of tools and a support system in place as part of their relapse prevention plan.

Continuing Care

We know that staying connected to our facility through an alumni and/or mentorship program can be an important part of maintaining sobriety. Consequently, Nexus offers a variety of ways for clients to stay involved, supported, and accountable once they have completed their treatment with us. After care services are available for clients who want or need additional support as they make the transition back to independent living.

If you or someone you know is in need of treatment for substance abuse, we are here to help. Contact us today to learn more about all that Nexus has to offer.
